By gravatar, it means the tiny images (picture), which represents you and/or your blog. Gravatars identifies you by your e-mail address, so if you sign up with an e-mail address and use another address on the comment area then it will not work. It took me awhile as to why my gravatar didn’t appear because of the wrong e-mail address.
