Tutorial: Smokey Back To School Look

September 1st, 2008

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a makeup tutorial so I thought I’d make a back to school look! I think the UDPP makes it harder for my eyeshadows to blend ): I want to try out Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance! (: You could also use a brown eyeliner for your upper lashline and waterline to make it more natural, but since I don’t have them I just use the basic black eyeliner.

Sorry for the weird angle. The last time I recorded a video, I was doing my right eye but it was left-angled and now that I did it on my left eye, it’s right-angled! So complicated! I wish I have a camcorder so I could monitor myself!! /:

Tutorial: Golden Green Eyes

February 13th, 2008

I made the tutorial in two parts because I didn’t want to edit out a lot. lol. I’m too tired!

How come whenever I make a tutorial, my eyeshadows come out bad but when I do an FOTD it comes out looking nice. haha. I need to practice moreee. I hate how the Metal-X Cream Shadow is so… um un-vibrant? lol is that even a word? But anyway I hate using my fingers. Maybe it’s the brush I’m using. I don’t have any other brush! All I use is the Sonia Kashuk eyeshadow brush. I use to have a smaller one but my dog chewed on it. lol. I always spend my money on makeup, not tools I definitely need. I seriously need to start saving up more if I don’t want to keep using cheap makeup brushes.

Here’s the link from where someone requested the look:

Hauls!

February 4th, 2008

So my cousin’s birthday is coming up. It’s very hard shopping for her, I must say. I know she loves shoes and clothes, mostly shoes, but it’s not that, it’s how there’s only ONE Nine West store in the city. There is another one, but it’s so far and I’m not about to drive all the way over there. haha. I would try Aldo, which I have already, but I think she likes Nine West better. With makeup, she is so picky when it comes to it. Whenever she sees a makeup product she likes, she buys it, but then later on she gets bored with it and returns it. So now I decided on getting her some clothes. I bought her two dresses from Wet Seal, and must I say, they ALWAYS have great deals and great clothing. It was “Buy one, get one free” and I didn’t have to pay so much! Overall it cost me 15 bucks. I guess both of the dresses were on sale and they offered the “Buy one, get one free” deal. That was so awesome!

Tutorial: Day to Night Transition

October 25th, 2007

Here is my tutorial for a day to night transition. A natural look in the daytime for going to school or out to lunch with friends and for nightime, a dramatic look when you’re heading to a party and you’re too lazy to shower and fix your face all over again. So hopefully this tutorial will help you because black and brown e/s looks great together!

I wish the green is more vibrant. But overall, the colors and texture are beautiful… and I’m “whispering” again. ugh.
